For the story of Shasta's rescue, visit http://ontariobouvrescue.net/shasta.html. After a long truck ride from Hamilton, Ontario, Shasta arrived at our home at 10:00 pm on Sunday, September 17, 2000. Sharon and I met Margo and Frank at a truck stop and transferred Shasta to our car.

Shasta is a 9 1/2 year old female Bouvier. She is a very sweet dog and we feel we were privileged to get her. More pictures coming soon.

Shasta laying on the rear deck in the above picture. This was her first full day at her new home. She truly is a very sweet dog.

On the rear deck again chewing on a 10" rawhide stick. We have those sticks scattered all over the house and when Shasta found this one, she would not let it go. She carried it everywhere.

Oh, oh. We have a problem here. Shasta is sacked out in my office in the SAME spot that Magnum sleeps. Hmmm.
